This handkerchief features gentle hand-stitched embroidery. This handkerchief was created through a collaboration between Takeno Dyeing Co., Ltd. which specializes in hand towel dyeing, and Bus House, a Type B facility for continuous employment support.
The handkerchiefs are dyed reversibly using a unique technique, and hand-sewn embroidery is carefully done by people with disabilities, stitch by stitch.
Bus House, located in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, is a place where people with disabilities work based on the concept of "careful, manual work. Through their work, they aim to connect with society and create a place for each individual.
The stitches may vary due to the hand-embroidery process, but we hope you will enjoy the charm of these one-of-a-kind items.
