The GEL-COOL series bento box encloses cool gel inside the lid. By using the frozen lid, the lid itself acts as a cooling agent, so you can carry food safely even on warm days. Simply pop the lid in your freezer the night before. Once frozen, the lid can last over 5 hours in an environment of 25 degrees C, keeping your food under 15 degrees C.
Since the cool gel is located in the lid, it doesn't take up much space in the freezer. All you have to do in the morning is to pack the food in the box and close it with the frozen lid. It will keep food cold until lunch ensuring a refreshingly cool and delicious meal!
Both the medium & large box also have a removable inner divider, and a lid with an inner flexible, hermetically sealing element that makes the lid almost 100% leak-proof. It also comes with an elastic band to hold the container together.

The outer part of the lid is made of ABS (safe temperature range: -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F)), and the inner divider element is made of polypropelene (safe temperature range: -20°C to 140°C (-4°F to 284°F)).
The flexible seal around the inside of the lid is made of silicone (safe temperature range: -40°C to 180°C (-40°F to 360°F)).
The flexible inner lid is made of an elastomere (safe temperature range : -60°C to 120°C (-76°F to 248°F)).
CARE & USE
The boxes are microwave and dishwasher safe with the lids removed. DO NOT microwave for more than 2 minutes on high or warping may occur.
The lids should be hand washed. The silicone sealing element and the inner lid, can be removed for easy washing.
