What is a furoshiki wrapping cloth? A furoshiki is both a wrapping fabric and the technique used to tie it. It is used to wrap anything from bento boxes, flowers, books, wine bottles, etc. thus limiting plastic bags and reducing waste on top of giving your lunch boxes and gifts a super original style!

Designed by Chie Takai, a renowned Japanese stencil artist, known under her artist name kata kata. At Kata Kata, they design and create original textile products using Katazome and Chusen print techniques. Their inspiration comes from the beauty of the natural world around us. Each piece they create has its own unique story. Their goal is to spark imagination and conversation through their one-of-a kind handmade products.
