The Story Behind the Brand
Our Japanese Furoshiki’s are imported from Japan and are made from 100% pure woven cotton. Furoshiki are an eco-friendly wrapping cloth which promotes caring for the environment as they can be used over and over again.
What is a furoshiki wrapping cloth? A furoshiki is both a wrapping fabric and the technique used to tie it. It is used to wrap anything from bento boxes, flowers, books, wine bottles, etc. thus limiting plastic bags and reducing waste on top of giving your lunch boxes and gifts a super original style!
The Musubi collection even uses a traditional technique so that the fabric can be reversible, with hues that match the modern lifestyle.
There is now a renewed interest in using these furoshiki’s as modern day and trendy fashion bags. Add one of our hand-made leather handles by UOAK and you’ve just elevated the wrapping cloth to a very chic and unique fashion statement!
These furoshiki’s can also be used as aprons and scarves.
