Bon Voyage - 3 Tips on packing with Furoshiki

Preparing for a trip is one of the most enjoyable parts of traveling. Next step is deciding on what to pack! You start with this and that - and before you know it, you find yourself with a bulging suitcase. Here are 3 tips on how to pack hassle free using a Furoshiki wrapping cloth. Since most Furoshiki are non-bulky, they make for an excellent item serving multiple purposes.

1. Organize intimates - these days, we are never sure if our suitcase gets opened at customs or through security. Use your Furoshiki to keep all your intimates in one bundle and neatly wrapped.

2. Use to separate dirty clothes and outfits - a Furoshiki can also be used to keep your soiled items separate from your clean items. Or clothes for fancier occasions, scarves, etc. One thing I hate when traveling is not knowing which were my dirty or clean socks!

3. For women, use as an evening purse. Learn to tie a Furoshiki into a little evening purse. You will save space in your suitcase and it will be unique!

As an extra, Furoshiki can also be used to wipe sweat or hands, as a scarf or bandana, or to organize small souvenirs. Bon voyage!
