If the company Bambu had an iconic product... it most certainly would have to be their bamboo spork. The spork dates back to the late 1800's. First made from metal, aluminum, and plastic, now they can say, they were the first to design and offer it in bamboo. It's a clever little utensil with an illustrious past.
A great item to carry when you travel. This versatile all-in-one eating utensil is hand-shaped from a single piece of Certified organic bamboo. You’ll want one in your travel kit, at work, in the car … better buy lots. Finished and polished to a satiny feel that is a delight to hold. Does not impart or absorb flavors. Won’t scratch fine dinnerware.

Life of a Bamboo Spork - By Jeffrey Delkin
Our beloved Spork. It's become somewhat of an icon for us around here at bambu.
And he has established quite a following, as well. He fits nicely in a lunch box, or stashes neatly in a bag, desk drawer, or glove compartment. Cleans up easily, made without glues, or plastics. Hand shaped from certified organic, renewable bamboo. Simple.
We felt it deserved it's own infographic, to help tell his story. Entitled Life As A Spork, it is the illustrated journey of how our bamboo Spork is made, where it comes from, and each step along the process before he's ready to serve.
We love our Sporks so much we thought we'd name a whole week after it. Follow our social media profiles August 24th to August 30th for #SporkWeek where we'll share Spork facts, exclusive discounts, and more!
